Fertility diet is very important for women as well as men. Along with increasing the sperm count, some foods also improve its quality. At the same time, some reduce the sperm count. Pumpkin Seeds – Pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc. Zinc is one of the essential minerals that increase fertility in men. It also increases testosterone, sperm motility and sperm count.
Oranges – Oranges are rich in vitamin C and studies have proved that vitamin C improves sperm motility, count and its texture. Include other foods containing vitamin C such as tomatoes, broccoli and cabbage in your diet.
Dark leafy vegetables – Folate is found in dark leafy vegetables – spinach, lettuce, Brussels sprouts and asparagus. It is also known as Vitamin B. Folate makes sperm strong and healthy.
Dark chocolate- Dark chocolate contains an amino acid called arginine. It can improve sperm count and quality.
Salmon and sardine fish – Omega-3 fatty acids are found in some fish. Especially found in salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring and sardine fish, omega-3 fatty acids help in improving sperm quality and count.
