First case, Two cats infected from corona in New York

News Desk – Corona continues to wreak havoc in USA. This dangerous virus originated from Wuhan, China is causing worldwide upheaval. So far, this virus which is causing havoc in humans is now being found in animals also. Recently, where a tigress was found to be corona positive, then now two pet cats have been found to be corona positive in New York of America. US health officials said in a statement that this is the first case of pet contamination in the United States, when two New York cats have been found to be corona positive

Both cats were found to have mild breathing problems, after which they were tested and came out positive. There treatment has been started immediately, where as it is expected to recover from illness. There is also a possibility of infection from the people or neighborhood of the house they are in.

A release has been issued by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on this entire matter, detailing the case in detail. According to the CDC release, the two cats are in two different areas of New York State.

The four-year-old Malaysian tigress Nadia was found infected with the corona virus at the Bronx Zoo in New York earlier. The zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Society had stated in its press release that Nadia had a complaint with Kovid-19.
