UPSC IES ISS exams to be held from October 16 to 18, Schedule released
UPSC IES / ISS exam dates 2020: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct Indian Economic Service (IES) or Indian Statistical Service (ISS) exam from 16 to 18 October. This year, 15 posts will be recruited through UPSC IES exam and 47 through ISS exam.
The paper will be conducted in two shifts. Morning shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift will be from 2 to 5 pm. The detailed program is available on the website upsc.gov.in.
Schedule of Examinations –
Candidates will have to appear for a written test of 1000 marks. Those who clear the written part will be called for the Viva Test for 200 marks. General English and General Studies papers will be common for both Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.

- Statistics – I (objective) – 9.00 A.M to 11.00 A.M.
- General Economics -II (Descriptive) – 2.00 P.M to 5.00 P.M.

18 October –
- General Economics -III (Descriptive) – 9.00 A.M to 12.00 PM
- Stats –III (Descriptive) – 9.00 A.M to 12.00 PM
