WHO also considered Corona Virus spreading in Air

In a letter to WHO (World Health Organization), 239 scientists from 32 countries had told that corona is an airborne virus, which can also spread in the air. Scientists have also shed light on some evidences that show that tiny particles of the virus can infect people by staying in the air. The WHO has also now accepted this report based on facts.

Technical lead associated with the COVID-19 epidemic at the WHO, said, “There has been evidence of corona virus being in the air, but nothing can be said clearly about it.” Still, the possibility of the virus spreading through air in crowded public places and closed places cannot be ruled out.

The research paper of this study is likely to be published in the ‘Scientific Journal’ next week. Respiratory infection such as COVID-19 is spread through droplets of different sizes (sprinkles or drops). Particles larger than 5–10 μm in the diameter are considered respiratory droplets, while particles smaller than 5 μm are nuclei droplets.

According to the WHO, the virus of COVID-19 spreads mainly among people through respiratory droplets and contact routes. However, a letter written by scientists suggests that it can also be an aerosol transmission, ie an infection spread through the air.

From the WHO perspective, the droplets of the virus come out while coughing, sneezing or speaking, which fall to the ground after being fixed about 1 meter away due to gravity power (gravitational force). After this, there is no question of the virus spreading in the air.

On the other hand, 239 scientists have given evidence that nuclei droplets (smaller than 5 microns) not only spread more than 1 meter in the air, but also pose a danger for longer. If there is truth in this logic of scientists, then this virus is actually more dangerous than we think.
