The Ministry of Home Affairs had recently issued guidelines for the phased restoration of Delhi Metro operations following which DMRC had said that the services would be started in three phases from September 7 to 12.

Action on without masks

Delhi Metro spokesman Anuj Dayal said that there have been pictures on social media that some people are not putting face masks on the metro. This is not right. The most appealing thing to do is to apply a face mask during the journey. Take care of the safety of others along with you. He said that our flying squad team performs random checks. If someone is found without a mask, then a fine can be levied against him and handed over to the police. He said that through frequent announcements, we appeal to people to apply face masks.

What is the preparation for the metro

Special care has been taken to keep the distance of 1 meter between passengers in the train. Seat marking has also been done to ensure social distancing. At the same time, metro staff and civil volunteers have been deployed to ensure that the station is not crowded. The baggage carrying the passenger will also have to be sanitized.
