Lockdown : E-commerce companies will not be able to sell these goods

New Delhi – Central government has announced relief to some industries and businesses from April 20. But a day earlier, the Home Ministry has amended its guidelines related to the lockdown on Sunday. It has been clarified by the Ministry of Home Affairs that during lockdown, E-commerce companies will not be able to sell non-essential goods and before delivery approval will have to be taken from the Govt. This decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MhA) will have an impact on e-commerce companies like Flipkart, Amazon.

In the guidelines issued earlier by the MHA, it was said that E-commerce companies can operate with full capacity from April 20. In this regard, E-commerce companies were asked to get the necessary approvals for the movement of vehicles associated with delivery.

No concession in hotspot area : No concession has been given to the corona virus hotspot area. Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health will be followed in the hotspot. No one will be allowed to exit. Home delivery of essential goods will be done. There will be a movement of the personnel and medical staff engaged in the security of the area.

They will get concession in lockdown

  • Relief to farmers
  • All hospitals, clinics including Ayush will remain open.
  • Petrol pumps will open.
  • Courier service allowed to work.
  • Trucks have been allowed to travel with certain conditions.
  • Essential services including cable TV, DTH, telephone will continue.
  • SEZ will continue industrial production
  • Production of essential goods and medicines will continue
  • Industrial activities will continue in rural areas.
  • Electricity mechanic, plumber, corpenter have been allowed.
  • Transit permission for essential services
  • All mandis operated by APMC will open.

Relief to farmers : Modi’s Government has given permission to agriculture related works while giving relief to the farmers. Farmers have been allowed to harvest their crops and sow. Agencies have been allowed to buy the produce of farmers. Fisheries related activities have been allowed. Work related to MNREGA will continue. The construction work being done on behalf of the state government has also been exempted.
