1 Crore to Health worker family if he dies during treating Corona patients: Kejriwal

New Delhi –  CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that the situation is under control in Delhi and the condition of community transmission is not there. Kejriwal said in a press conference this afternoon that the Corona figures in Delhi are under control. He said that there has not been much increase in the death toll even here.

Kejriwal said that the doctors treating Corona patients are serving the country like soldiers today. He said that if any doctor, health worker or medical worker dies while treating the patients of Corona, then the Delhi government will give a sum of Rs 1 crore to his family. CM Kejriwal said that this honor amount is for private or government.

He said that PPE i.e. Personal protective equipment is needed for the safety of doctors. He said that the Delhi government is engaged in arranging this for all health workers.

LG Anil Baijal of Delhi spoke to CM Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Secretary and Delhi Police Commissioner on preparations to deal with Corona. LG Anil Baijal said that he has advised the government to sanitize those areas of Delhi through fire brigade vehicles. Apart from this, he has also asked for quarantine centers, public places. Apart from this, LG has also asked disaster management groups to be constantly alert.
