IIM CAT 2020: Application date extended till 23 September, read details here

CAT 2020: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has extended the last date of application for Common Admission Test (CAT 2020). The last date for first application was 16 September, but now it has been extended to 23 September 2020.

Interested candidates who have not yet applied, can fill up their form by visiting iimcat.ac.in till 5 pm on 23 September. The exam will be held on 29 November. CAT fees can be paid online by the candidates through debit card / credit card or net banking.

The CAT 2020 process will be conducted keeping in mind the COVID-19 crisis. The information provided by the CAT website is dependent on the decisions and directives issued by the Central and State Governments and IIM from time to time. Candidates are advised to keep checking the CAT website regularly for more information.

When will be the exam

IIM will conduct a computer-based Common Admission Test 2020 (CAT 2020) on 29 November 2020 in two sessions at various examination centers across 156 cities across India. The exam will be conducted in three parts, whose time will be 180 minutes.

The CAT Exam into three parts –

  1. 1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
  2. 2. Data Interpretation and Logical
  3. 3. Reasoning and Quantitative Ability

When can CAT Results come –

The results of CAT 2020 examination are likely to be declared by the second week of January 2021.

What is CAT exam – 

CAT ie Common Admission Test. This is a computer-based exam. Every year millions of students appear in this exam. This examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). Students selected by CAT study business administration programs and make a career in this field.

What is IIM? –

IIM’s full name is Indian Institute of Management. MBA courses are conducted by IIM. To enroll in IIM, one has to pass CAT exam. CAT scores are recognized by many other management schools, not just IIMs.
