First batch Rafale Aircraft to reach Ambala in July

New Delhi – The first batch of Rafale fighter jets will be arriving in Ambala city of Haryana from Istres in France on July 27. According to the initial inputs four-six Rafale jets are set to be arrive in India. On other hand the “Golden Arrows” squadron of the Rafale jets will be combat-ready by August.

Rafale aircraft will land at UAE’s Al Dafra airbase after taking flight. Here, after all other technical checkups from fuel, Rafale aircraft will fly directly to India, Which will come directly to Ambala airbase.

According to information delivery of all 36 Rafale aircraft will be done in 2022. The first squadron of the Rafale aircraft will be stationed at Ambala, while the second squadron will be stationed at Hasimara in West Bengal. It was believed that due to Corona crisis, delivery of Rafale planes would be delayed, but France had decided to deliver on time.

In this regard, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to French Defense Minister Florence Parle on 2 June. During this time, France was assured that the delivery of Rafael fighter aircraft to India will be on time, the Corona catastrophe will not affect it.
