At least 23 heads, including members of the CWC, leaders and MPs who became ministers in the UPA government, wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi on the issue of the organization. The letter emphasized the right strategy to run the party with the AMP central leadership. It said that the leadership should be someone who is active and appears to be working on the ground.
