NASA Scientist’s Big Warning on Climate Change | Gavin Schmidt | El Nino | Heat Waves

NASA scientist has warned that this month of July will be the hottest month in the world. According to report the situation could worsen in next year 2024. NASA’s top climate scientist Gavin Schmidt (गेविन श्मिट) further said that based on data obtained by analyzing ground and satellite data, heat records have been broken in the month of July. In 14 days of this month, the surface air temperature has been recorded more than 17 degrees, which has not been seen for millions of years.

  • Surface AIR temperature recorded more than 17 degrees

Talking to reporters, Schmidt said that we are witnessing un-precedented changes in the world due to climate change. America, Europe and China are seeing heatwaves in the month of July which are destroying many records. He further said that El Nino alone cannot be held responsible for the extreme heat in July. Rather, it is because of the continuous emission of green house gases in the environment and their lack of reduction.

Nasa scientist says, 2023 may be the hottest year in recent years, although it will be confirmed only after analyzing the data, but many scientists believe that there is an 80 percent chance. Gavin Schmidt warned that the situation could be worse in 2024. Schmidt said that the El Nino effect has just emerged and will be at its peak by the end of this year. 2024 is expected to be hotter due to the effect of El Nino.
