New features linked in WhatsApp for Android and iPhone

Some new features have come in the instant messaging app WhatsApp which are are for both Android and iPhone platforms. Specially in view of the popularity of normal stickers, the company has decided to bring animated stickers.

QR Codes – Through this new feature of WhatsApp, contacts can be saved directly from the QR code. You can scan and save. This feature can be used to add someone to your contacts and people can also print it on the business card.

Animated Stickers – Animated Stickers have been launched recently. Before this there were normal stickers which you must have used. These stickers have also become quite popular. Users can move the stickers pack as per their choice. However animated stickers can be played only once and do not play in a loop.

Improvement in Group Video Calls – This feature is already there, but the company has made many changes in it within a short time. Earlier its limit was increased from 4 to 8 and now it has been made even easier with just one icon.

Dark mode for web – Dark mode has already arrived in WhatsApp for mobile, but now the company has also released dark mode for WhatsApp web.

Status feature for KaiOS – This feature was already on Android and iPhone, but now the company is releasing this feature for feature phones with KaiOS.
