Railway to run 20 pairs of clone trains from September 21

Indian Railways has decided to run 20 pair or 40 clone trains on select routes from 21 September in view of the huge rush of passengers in many special trains. Clone trains will be fully reserved trains. According to the railway, out of the 20 pairs of clone trains, 19 pairs of special clone trains will be Humsafar Express, while one pair of Jan Shatabdi trains will be run.

Indian Railways has decided to run a clone train to remove the tension of troubled passengers from the long waiting list. Only those passengers will be able to travel in the cloned train of the railway, who will get waiting tickets to reach their destination. The plan of the clone train will eliminate the worry of not getting the seat confirmed in the waiting ticket.

How will the clone train be?

The clone train will be like other special trains. The railway has named it Clone Train because the number of this train will be the same in which your ticket is waiting. However, the speed of the cloned trains will be faster and the trains will stop at limited stations.

How much will the fare be?

Except Jan Shatabdi, the fare of all special clone trains will be equal to Humsafar special trains. Railways said that out of these 20 pair clone trains, the fare of Humsafar Express will be charged for 19 pair trains, while the clone train running between Lucknow to Delhi will have to be paid at par with Jan Shatabdi Express. At the same time, passengers will have to make reservations within 10 days to travel in these trains.

How many coaches will be in the clone train?

The railway’s 19 pairs Humsafar Express (Clone Train) will have 18 coaches, while a pair Jan Shatabdi train will have 22 coaches. According to the railway, there will be 5 AC chaircars and 15 non AC chaircar coaches in the Lucknow-Delhi Jan Shatabdi clone special train. Explain that the clone trains will be in addition to the 310 pairs of special trains currently running. The operation of these trains will start from September 21.

Indian Railways has released the number and timetable of 20 pair i.e. 40 clone trains. This includes clone trains of all zones of East Central Railway, Western Railway and Northern Railway. Which will run between several states including UP, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab. In stations for which there are more passengers, clone trains will run to increase the frequency of trains.

Clone trains will run from 5 stations of Bihar

According to the Railways, out of the 20 pairs of clone trains, most are trains going to Bihar. Clone trains from Bihar to New Delhi will run from Saharsa, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Rajgir and Rajendranagar stations. According to the list released by the Railways, clone trains will run between Amritsar-Jayanagar, New Delhi-Lucknow, Bangalore-Danapur, Ahmedabad-Darbhanga, Delhi-Ahmedabad, Patna Ahmedabad, Varanasi-New Delhi and Amritsar-Brandra.
