Another explosion in Lebanon Southern area

Lebanon has once again been shaken by horrific blasts. According to local media reports, the blast took place in a village considered a stronghold of Hezbollah militants. It is a region of southern Lebanon.

Local residents said that many of the injured have been taken to hospital by ambulance, while the national news agency has reported limited damage. A military source said preliminary information suggests that the explosion “occurred at the Hezbollah Center.”

In footage shared on social media, a huge goblet of dark brown smoke is seen coming out of the blast site. At the same time, Shia agitators immediately declined to comment on the blast.

Hezbollah is the only Lebanese non-state armed group backed by Iran, which was not disarmed after the 1975–1990 civil war. It has fought several wars with the arch-enemy of neighboring Israel, Iran. The National News Agency said the explosion was carried out by Israeli fighter jets and drones.

Lebanon is still under the influence of a large explosion of hundreds of tons of ammonium nitrate at the port of Beirut. More than 190 people were killed in this blast while thousands were injured.
