World’s popular bicycle race Tour De France postponed due to Corona

The world’s most popular bicycle race will no longer begin according to a predetermined schedule. The three-week race, however, can still be held this year. French science papers said on Tuesday that the competition could begin in August.
Both Equipe and Le Parisien said that the organizer of the Tour de France can now do it from 29 August to 20 September. According to the new schedule, the Tour de France will end when the French Open Tennis Tournament starts in Paris according to the newly revised schedule.
The Tour de France was scheduled to begin in Nice on 27 June, but the race was made impossible following the French President’s announcement on Monday night. Emanuel Macron said in his name to the nation that all the crowded public events have been canceled by mid-July.
