India China Dispute: Rajnath Singh to attend SCO meeting in Russia

After the tension between India-China Tension, India has taken a big decision. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh off to Moscow (Russia) today to attend an important meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Following the recent dispute over India-China Pangong Lake Faceoff, a meeting of officials of India and China is taking place. The brigade commander of the army will represent India at this meeting. Brigade commander level talks were held on Tuesday as well.

It is known that the Chinese army had attempted to change the status quo in the south bank area of ​​Pangong Lake on the night of 29-30 August, but the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to this aggressive action.

 

 

Departs russia on wednesday

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh left for Russia on Wednesday to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting. The meeting is taking place at a time when there is a deadlock on the border between India and China.

In addition to attending the SCO’s defense ministers meeting to be held on September 4, officials said, Singh will hold talks with his Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and several other top military officials to increase bilateral military cooperation.

Second trip after june

This is Singh’s second visit to Moscow after June. He represented India in the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on 24 June. The Victory Day parade was held on the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
